Reports that tell you which rental to buy next

Reports add up what you booked, where it came from and how busy every rental was, counted on the day of the party rather than the day it was booked. The Demand tab reads the same bookings forward: the rentals that sell out, the ones nobody books, and the dates ahead that are filling up, each with what to do about it.

What it does

Everything it handles

  • Sales before tax, orders and average order, each against the period before of the same length, then what has been collected, what is still to collect, and delivery fees.
  • How busy each rental was, across every unit you own. Own three castles and rent one every Saturday of a month, and that is about 4 percent, not 100: the two in storage count too.
  • The Demand tab flags the rentals that sell out, your busiest, and the ones nobody booked in 90 days, with what to do about each: buy another, charge more on the days it sells out, feature it, or retire it.
  • Dates in the next 60 days that are filling up, with a rental sold out or most of your units booked. The ones in the next two weeks show on your Today page.
  • Everything counts on the day of the party, not the day it was booked. Quotes and cancelled orders never count.
  • Sales by day, week or month, whichever suits the period, with the same numbers as a table.
  • What was booked: every item and package, most money first, with how many bookings each was on.
  • Where orders came from, such as your booking website, the widget on your own site, phone quotes and orders your staff entered, with each one's share of sales.
  • Download the period as a spreadsheet: every order with the money broken out for your bookkeeper, what was booked, and how busy. Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets all open it.
  • Owners and managers see the reports. Drivers and crew never do.
