  • InflatableOffice

From $39 a month · Priced by: How many items you own · Free trial: None stated. Its Starter plan, up to 10 items, is shown at $0 for 3 years to new customers as a limited time offer

  • Event Rental Systems

From $79.95 a month · Priced by: How many items you own · Free trial: None stated. The page offers a demo

When Booqable is the better choice

An honest comparison says where the other product fits better. Each of these comes from Booqable's own website.

  • Your customers pick up and bring back what they rent, such as cameras, bikes, boats or trailers, on their own or next to party rentals. Booqable's site lists all of those industries, and Rentopus is built around delivery.
  • You run several locations from one account. Booqable Scale adds them at $29 to $37 a month each; Rentopus does not offer it.
  • You need an API, Zapier or Xero, or PayPal next to Stripe. Booqable offers them. Rentopus takes card payments through Stripe and has no public API.
  • You work alone from a counter and need no signed agreement. Booqable Start is $35 a month, or $29 billed yearly, against $59 for Rentopus Starter.
  • You have more than 25 items, six people or fewer log in, and you deliver without planning routes across trucks. Booqable with Deliveries and the website builder costs less, as the table above shows.

Moving from Booqable to Rentopus

Your catalog comes across from a spreadsheet. There is no Booqable preset in the Rentopus import yet, so it suggests where each column goes from the column's name and you confirm. Anything it cannot read is flagged before anything is saved.

  1. 1Export your inventory from Booqable. Its pricing page lists data exports on Grow and Scale, not on Start.
  2. 2Start the Rentopus free trial: 14 days, every feature, no card.
  3. 3Open Items, then Import from a file, and upload the export as a CSV or Excel file. Check each suggested column match and skip any column you do not need.
  4. 4Check the rows flagged for a look, such as a missing quantity or a price it could not read, then import. Add your delivery zones, connect Stripe for card payments and publish your booking website.
